He was predeceased by: his mother Marilyn Smith (Alexander); his wife DeeDee Smith; and his brother Carroll Smith. He is survived by: his father Charles Elmo Smith; his daughter Kim Nelson (Aaron); his grandchildren, Kristen, Tyler, Ariana and AJ; his great grandchildren, Oliver and Quinn; and his sisters, Sherie Adams (Gary) and Annette Garstka (Garry). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
