She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Edward Ward and Ada Marie Aycock; and her brother Fairlen Ward. She is survived by: her husband Robert Furr; her children, Yvette Betterton, Carla Spier, Richard Betterton (Jessica) and Gretchen Thorn (Heath); and her siblings, Brenda Griffin (Wesley), Lisa Gann (Keith) and Ricky Ward. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 9:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM.
