He was predeceased by: his parents, Vera Self (Thornton) and Reverend William Self; and his siblings, Lynn Self and Lola Kay Stutts. He is survived by: his wife Trieneke; his children, Michael R. Self, David L. Self (Stephanie) and Adrienne Dea Self (Al Kennett); his grandchildren, Daniel Self, John Rucker Self, Remington (Jana Self) and Boone Self; and his siblings, Raymond Self, Bobbie Miller and Barbara McGaha. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
