He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Cearley and Bobbie Cearley; and his brother Eddie Wayne Cearley. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Cearley; his sons, Forrest Cearley (Lanay) of Waxahachie and Dustin Cearley (Tonya) of Buckner, Arkansas; his sister Cynthia Pritchett (Don); and his grandchildren, Grayson Cearley, Harper Cearley, Emma Cearley, Hudson Cearley and Ava Cearley.
