He is survived by: his wife Teresa Martin; his children, Dennis Martin (Debra) of Waldo, AR, Damien Latham, Melissa Martin of Batesville, AR and Sera Latham; his stepchildren, Chris Henderson of Mena, AR, Darin Latham of Texarkana, AR, Stacy Hatfield and Steve of Redwater, TX; his siblings, Dennon Martin (Debbie) of Buckner and Peggie Vansickle of Magnolia; his granddaughters, Lisa Martin, Hannah Barnett (Chris) and Leah Dyer; his stepgrandchildren, Katie Hayes, Collin Hatfield, Clayton Hatfield, Wendy Satterfield, Dana Huffman (Todd), William Holmes and Taylor (Alex); his great grandchildren, Chase Guidry, Cierra Guidry, Christian and Ainsley; and his sister-in-law Gail Stewart. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Flois Glendene Bearden Nelson wrote a sympathy message

“I so sorry to hear of James’s passing. I knew him when we were teenagers. We lived across the street from. I have wondered about him for years. Did’t recognize his picture in the Obituary as we were probably 14 or 15 years old. This was in Texarkana Arkansas. I have lived in California for close to 60 years.”
