Yvonne Calhoun Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Yvonne Calhoun of Bryant, Arkansas, born in Jamestown, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 8, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Yvonne departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Yvonne. Though Yvonne may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville Brumm and Agnes Brumm (Gilbertson); her daughter Elizabeth White; and her granddaughter Laura Jean Sitzes. She is survived by: her daughters, Corine Egendoerfer (Bob), Jeanne Huffman (Tim), Sarah Calhoun (Jeff Muehlberg) and Melissa Marschel (Lee). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nelson's Chapel of the Springs (150 W Van Buren, Eureka Springs, AR 72632). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Eureka Springs Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Holiday Island Presbyterian Church, St. Jude's Hospital, or the charity of your choice.
