He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Schultz and Thelma Stuetzer Schultz. He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Lane Schultz; his children, Todd Schultz (Lisa) of Boyton Beach, Nathan Schultz (LeAnne) of Benton and Amie Hurley (Jerry) of Apoka, Florida; his grandchildren, Jacqualine Hurley, Courtnie Schultz, Everett Schultz, Savannah Schultz, Julianna Hurley, Kayla Schultz and Jeremiah Hurley; and his siblings, Bevra Sorrels and Gary Schultz.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in Richard's name to the Benton First Baptist Church Choir, 211 South Market Street, Benton, Arkansas 72015.
