He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Dewey Stringer and Ina Mae Ponder Stringer; his siblings, Mercedes "Ceedo" Stringer Tucker and Eugene Ferrell "Brown" Stringer; and his daughter-in-law Lisa Lean House Stringer.
He is survived by: his wife Carole Faye Wilson Stringer; his children, Daniel Stringer, Amy Stringer Haile, Ellen Stringer Mitchell and Jason Stringer; his grandchildren, Erin, Joseph, Seth, Megan, Jacob, John, Benjamin, Emily, Melody, Samuel, Burke, Naomi, Tate, Ezra, Adalia and Audrey; and his great grandchildren, Lena, Della, Tessa, Artemis, Serin, Ellis and Vaughn. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great grand children.
