He was predeceased by: his parents, Opal Williams and Carl Williams; and his sister Renee Gray. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Haugen; his children, Tina Puhalla (Joseph Puhalla) and John Urbach (Amanda Urbach); his grandchildren, Haley Puhalla, William Puhalla, Xander Urbach and Brycen Urbach; and his brother Eric Williams.
