She was predeceased by: her parents, Audie Whitehead and Viola Hohrine Whitehead; her husband George Hamp Pennington; her children, Reginald Hamp Pennington and Melanie Gay English; and her brother Jacob Whitehead.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Nicholas Pennington and Beverly R. Honeycutt (Robert); and her grandchildren, Steven Casey Honeycutt (Christy), Christopher Honeycutt (Natasha), Amanda Black (Scott), Ryan English (Rebecca), Garrett Honeycutt, Hadley Honeycutt, Gavin Honeycutt and Wyatt Honeycutt. She is also survived by several great-great grandchildren and many friends.
