She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer McMurtrey (Mac) and Flora Dycus McMurtrey (Peggy); her sister Evelyn Sue Davis (James Hipps); and her son Sammy Hipps. She is survived by: her husband James; her daughter Micca Hipps Burris (Keoni Kepner); her grandparent Kamron Burris; and her nieces and nephews, Pamela Jared, Amberlie Pearce, Haley Jones, Ashlynn Jared and Austin Jared. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
