He was predeceased by: his parents, Huie Maxwell and Lola Woodward Maxwell; his siblings, Wesley Maxwell, Martha Cuneo, Lawrence Maxwell and Jackie Maxwell; and his grandson Brandon Fleming.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Maxwell; his children, Joanna Cope (Don) of Rogers, Cindy Fleming (Charles) of Bryant and Tim Maxwell (Tonya) of Sheridan; his grandchildren, Alec Fleming, Joshua Maxwell (Haley), Zachary Maxwell, Lola Fleming Thomas (Alan), Amanda Voyles (Eric), Courtney Probst (Nathan) and Drew Patton; and his great grandchildren, Emerie Maxwell, Beckett Maxwell, Elliott June Thomas, Ellis Voyles and Everett Voyles. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
