He is survived by: his wife Joann Cowell (Smith); his children, Debbie Ackerman (Bill), Jeffrey Cowell (Erin), Destry Cowell (Debbie) and Rich Cowell (Terri); his grandchildren, Bill Ackerman (Dustie), Kimber, Sydney Carter (Jackson), Sarah Castleberry (Evan), Jake Cowell, Darci Cowell, DeAnn Cowell, Denae Cowell, Emma Perry (Jim), Kaitlin Cowell and Megan Cowell; his great grandchild Norah Jane Carter; his siblings, Curt Cowell and Janet Henderson (Bill); and his sister-in-law Carroll Cowell. He is also survived by numerous other family members and friends.
