With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Crook of Bryant, Arkansas, born in Detroit, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 4, 2025 at the age of 89. As Barbara departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Barbara leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her sisters, Shirley Bennett and Janice Lemon; her son Loren Crook; and her great great grandchildren, Creedence McKinize and Maverick Qualls.
She is survived by: her husband Everett Crook (E. F.); her sister Dorothy Bowman; and her children, Robert Allen (Debra), Stephen Allen and Janice "Jay" Colebank. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
