It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wyveta Bryant Groves of Brookland, Arkansas, born in Caraway, Arkansas, who passed away on September 30, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Bryant and Deallie Summers Bryant; her husband Alvin Luther Groves of Brookland; her siblings, Bo Peep Graham and Roy Boy Bryant; and her granddaughter Mary Esther Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Alan Groves (Pam) of Brookland, Terry Davis (Billy) and Chris Groves (Sharon) of Jonesboro; her sister Elaine Nelms of Orlando, Florida; her grandchildren, Alan S. Groves, David Groves (Susan), Greg Groves (Kacey), Rachelle Wilson (Jonathan), Daniel Davis (Reese), Valerie Young, Timothy Davis, William Davis, Dr. Clayton Davis, Jonathan Groves (Alexis), Sarah Fletcher (Micheal), Mikala McKenzie (Caleb) and Allison Groves; and her sister-in-law Fredia Coy Bryant of Jonesboro. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
