It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Cope of Brookland, Arkansas, born in Salinas, California, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Cope and MaeHaley Cope (Greenfield); his siblings, Dewey Cope, Jr., Paul Cope, Joseph Cope, Bobby Cope, Freda Maynard, Reba Moore, Mary Pyburn and Jerry Cope; and his sibling-in-law Gelenda Cope (Richardson).
He is survived by: his brothers, Roger Cope (Anna), Bill Cope (Rilla) and Terry Cope; and his friend Darlene Wilson.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home (1900 W Washington Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401).
