We bid farewell to Shirley Jean Hansell Barger of Brinkley, Arkansas, born in Humphrey, Arkansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 19, 2024 at the age of 85. Shirley Jean Hansell touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hansell and Lola Hansell; her husband Jearl Barger; her son Tommy Hayley; and her siblings, Pat Horowitz and Don Hansell.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Barger (Pam) of Mountain Home, Alvin Barger (Deanna) of Vancouver, Wash, Maurie Alderson (David) of Almyra and Renee Weaver (Randy) of Brinkley. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, her family suggests memorials be made to the Fallen Firefighters Association.
