She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl C. Penn and Lula Mae Penn (Campbell); and her siblings, Ruth Kelly, Joyce Taylor, LaVerne "Bess" Brewer, Bertha Jones and E. J. Penn.
She is survived by: her sister Virginia Simpson; her cousins, Thomas (Buddy) and Pat Cooper of Brinkley; her close friend Jeremiah of Brinkley; and her pet Shorty. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
