She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Joe Imus; her son Dennis Wayne "Denny" Imus; her parents, James Purtle and Nancy Purtle; and her great grandchild Anna Claire Jackson.

She is survived by: her daughter Sheila Thomas (Steve) of Russellville; and her grandchildren, Detra Jackson (Nick), Krista Malin (Mark), Karla Foley (C. J.) and Jacob Imus (Lacey). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.
