He was predeceased by: his parents, John Pierce and Chloe Pierce; and his brothers, John H Pierce, Anthony Ralph Pierce and Robert Vincent "Bob" Pierce.
He is survived by: his wife Billie Pierce; his children, Robert Lane Pierce (Tina) of Rison, Arkansas, Renada Bray (Kit) of Vilonia and Brooke Pierce Cannon of Taylor, Arkansas; his stepson Scott Stewart (Katherine) of Bradley, Arkansas; and his siblings, Susan Johnson and Paul Douglas Pierce (Becky) of Heber Springs, Arkansas. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
