He is survived by: his son Ted Jackson Monroe, Jr. of Bradley, AR; and his sister-in-law Doris Monroe of Dallas, TX. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flower memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church, Magnolia, AR.
