He was predeceased by: his parents, George Smith and Dixie Glascow; his wife Sonya Smith; his siblings, Charles Smith, Leon Wheeler and Patricia Ann Stewart; his son-in-law Clarence Allan Hinds; and his grandson Casey Smith.
He is survived by: his children, Dixon Smith (Regina) of Bradley, AR, Geyna Hinds of Bradley, AR, Natalie Gill (Bobby) of Bradley, AR, Shawn Butcher of Springhill, LA and Sonya Sales (Larry Dean Sales) of Coushatta, LA; and his grandchildren, Felica, Bobby, April, Shelly, Shannon, Joshua, Jacob, Brandon and Matthew. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
