He was predeceased by: his parents, Eddie Cheatom and Mildred Stephens Cheatom. He is survived by: his wife Opal Cheatom of Bradley; his children, Joshua George (Renea), Ernest James (Angela) of Dallas, Texas, LaToya Cheatom of Hope, Temeka Harris (James), Wanda Burton (Sammy) of Bradley and Beverly Ellis (Charles) of Texarkana, Texas; and his siblings, Georgia Cheatom, Mary Sue Cheatom, Betty Rose (Vincent), GloriaCheatom, Bobby Cheatom (Rose Mary), George Cheatom, Willie Cheatom (Carol), David Cheatom and Dennis Cheatom. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
