He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Olan and Thelma Hamill (Durham); his wife Kathline Hamill; his daughter Lisa Lance; his granddaughter Kelsee Sawrie; his siblings, Richard Hamill and Shirley Ghyers; and his grandmother Lee Zarback.
He is survived by: his children, William Hamill (Cyanne) of Searcy, Sherry Weeks (Ray) of McRae and Jill Sawrie (Steven) of Bradford; his sister Carolyn Greenlee (Sam) of North Carolina; his grandchildren, Kyle Berry, Alesha Berry Sawrie, Corey Lance, Kali Payne and Courtney Hamill; and his great grandchildren, Hunter Berry, Alana Sawrie, Elizabeth Berry, Ava Rae Payne and Kelsee Jo Payne. He is also survived by his family, friends.
