He was predeceased by: his parents, Hinkle Hickmon and Arretis VanWinkle Hickmon; his former wife Dorothy Annette Hickmon; his great grandchild Anna Claire Christian; and his siblings, John, Carl, Bill, Clinton Marvin, Cleve, Lois Alexander Goad, Gracie Scantlin and Irene Hickmon.
He is survived by: his wife May Elizabeth Wilson; his daughters, Freda Christian (Charles) of Bradford and Fonda Thomason (Michael) of Bradford; and his siblings, Ruth Rhew of Bradford and Andy Hickmon (Neda Jane) of Mt. Vernon. He is also survived by five grandsons; six great-grandchildren; and many special nieces and nephews.
