He was predeceased by: his father Elmer Hartle; and his nephew Michael Hartle. He is survived by: his mother Lagerta "Sis" Hartle (Dubar); and his siblings, Bill Hartle (Betty), Alex Hartle, Dale Hartle, Allen Hartle and Phyllis Hancox. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
