She was predeceased by: her parents, R. G. Guthrie and Pinkie "Lou" Guthrie; and her husband Wilburn Hewitt. She is survived by: her son Nick Birdsong (Sarah) of Cash; her stepchildren, Wilbur Hewitt (Donna) and Christie Mann (Dennis) of Newport; her siblings, Robert Guthrie of Russell, Dean Guthrie (Mary) of Newark, Curt Guthrie (Carolyn) of Pennington and Patricia Stanley of Harrisburg; her grandchildren, C. J. Willeford of Cash and Madison Hewitt of Weiner; her cousin Robert Leo; and her siblings, Boo Clark, Packy Nelson and Winnie Walker.
