He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ivy and Eliza Adeline Burlison (Meachum); and his siblings, Buster Burlison, L. C. Burlison, Donnie Mathis, Violet Kennedy, Edna Burlison, Agnes Smith and Kathleen Moody.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Burlison (Chupp); his daughter Kimberly Burlison of Nashville, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Alicia Green, Rebecca Dattilo and Anthony Burlison. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
