She was predeceased by: her parents, John G. Barnett and Marze Barnett; her husband John D. Curry Sr.; her children, Ronald Curry, Harry Curry and Cleta Phipps; and her siblings, Kay, Puddin'Betty, Shirley and John G. "Sunny".
She is survived by: her children, Ricky Curry, Kathy McCoy, John Curry and Donna Jordan; her grandchildren, Shana Cochran, Deja Curry, Ashley, Shelby, Paul, Jonathan, Christopher, Timothy, Nathan, Jake, Rachel, Ruthanne and Larissa; and her siblings, Jackie Barnett, Sheila and Johnnie Sue. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lewis Funeral Chapel - Fort Smith (4817 Kelley Hwy, Fort Smith, AR 72904). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Fort Smith National Cemetery (522 Garland Ave, Fort Smith, AR 72901).
