He was predeceased by: his parents, James Schneider and Cleo Annette Schneider; his son John J. Schneider; and his brothers, James and Paul Schneider.
He is survived by: his son Paul N. Schneider; his sisters, Sandra Duncan, Christine Feldman, Carol Wilson, June Upenhouser, Sherrie Eknoian, Terri Eldridge and Lauretta Anderson; his grandchildren, Cyrus Chapa, Noah, Jonah and Gemma Schneider; and his former wife Janet Wells.
