He is survived by: his children, George Raymond Widener of Wisconsin and Wendy Catherine Faith Widener of Wisconsin; his stepdaughter Linda Melton of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and his siblings, Robert Widener of Waveland, Walter Widener of Booneville, Arkansas, Ellen Smothers of Booneville, Mattie Sue Walters of Booneville and Lulu Ann Widener of Gans, Oklahoma.
