He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Lowe and Dessie Lowe (Ford); and his great grandchildren, Alex Achterberg, Macy Honeycutt and Kristy Farhat.

He is survived by: his wife Sue Lowe; his daughters, Wanda House (Steve), Diane Downs (Jerry), Melinda Hale and Susie Moore (Don); his sisters, Nadean May and Patsy Lewis-Wilson; and his sister-in-law Wanda Wallace. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
