He is survived by: his children, Lynnetta Kay Tanner (Jim) of Booneville, Joil "Jody" Edward Bryant of Fort Smith, Janiece Ann Webb (Fred) of Dayton and Jimmy Dale Bryant (Diana) of Pocola, Oklahoma; his grandchildren, James Tanner Jr. (Amanda), Sherman "Eddie" Tanner (Charlene), Billye Hesson (Michael), Lori, Justin (Andrea), Weston Brown, Samantha Baker (Derek), Cordale Bryant (Royanna) and Heather Wilson; his great grandchildren, Loran Standridge (Lance), Michael Hesson Jr., Will Tanner (Caitlin), Dillon, Jessica Tanner, Aiden (Heather), Adyson Herr, Evie, Noella Brown, Jacey, Derek, Kynly Baker, McKenzie Smith (Chris) and Courtney Wilson; his great great grandchildren, Maddox, Jace Standridge, Luke Tanner, Madison and Jacob Smith; his siblings, Glenda Lafferty (Jim) of Centerton and Jerry Bryant (Rhonda) of Greenwood; and his sisters-in-law, Jeanette Bryant of Booneville and Anita Bryant of Cookeville, Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Roberts Memorial Chapel. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
