It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bettye Lou Halford of Booneville, Arkansas, who passed away on September 25, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Thrasher and Lula Thrasher; and her sisters, Joyce Lunsford, Frances Ashley and Bonnie Armstrong.
She is survived by: her husband Harmon Halford; her sons, Sam Halford (Tracy) of Galena, Robert "Bobby" Halford (Karen) of Booneville and Thomas Halford (Melissa) of Puyallup, Washington; her siblings, Don Thrasher (Joan) of Booneville, Arkansas and Bobbie Sue Campos of Texas; and her grandchildren, Leslie Cook (Bret), Seth Halford (Katie), Casey Halford (Veronica), Sydney Owens (Dillon), Hailey Halford, Hunter Halford, Hannah Halford, Brynlee Halford, Kirease Vasquez, Shon Owens, Nora Cook, Amelia Halford, Carson Cook and Audrey Kate Halford. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to the South Logan County Boys and Girls Club.
