He is survived by: his wife Nancy Simpson; his sons, Tom Simpson and William Simpson (Lisa Hess); his grandson Caryn Simpson; his siblings, J. L. Simpson, Wayne Simpson and Nona Wilson; and his grandchildren, Blake, Andrew, Jake, Avery and Haven Simpson. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and extended family.
