He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Swiercz and Sophie Swiercz; his stepfather Walter Sundstrom; his former wife Johnnie Ann Swiercz; his siblings, Dorothy Sundstrom and Ronnie Swiercz; and his grandson Jaried Swiercz.
He is survived by: his wife Cathy Swiercz; his siblings, Jimmy Sundstrom and Christine Gray; and his children, Don Swiercz, Angela Leary, Stacy Gatewood, Michael, Kimberly, Tina, Julie, Shannon, Joey and Mark Swiercz. He is also survived by twenty-three grandchildren; and twenty-six great grandchildren.
