It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bertha McGowan of Bono, Arkansas, who passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Bertha may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Bertha touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon McGowan and Thelma Birdsell McGowan; and her siblings, Rubin, Harrison, Charles, Ralph, Edward, Vernon, Louise and Hazel Clem.
Bertha had a deep love for cats and in her memory, memorials can be made to the Humane Society of NE Arkansas.
