It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jonathan Perry Abbott of Blytheville, Arkansas, who passed away on November 17, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Milo and Pauline Sunshine Abbott; his siblings, Peter Abbott, Charles Abbott, Ben Abbott, Vergie Mae Geary and Billie Jean Barnes; his nephew Andrew Abbott; and his brother-in-law Dr. Tommy Joe Carney.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Lunsford Abbott; his daughter Circuit Judge Johnnie Abbott Copeland; his son-in-law Scott Copeland; his grandson Colin Copeland of Mountain Home; and his sister-in-law Dr. Mabelee Carney.
