He is survived by: his wife Retha Thornton of Blytheville, AR; his children, Eddie Thornton Jr. of Blytheville, AR, Maurice "Mollen" Gross of Cape Girardeau, MO, Steve "Alicia" Patton of Elgin, IL, Sharniece Brown, Patricia Brown and Tomiesha Brown; and his sister Louise "Willie" Davis of Georgia.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Tabernacle Cogic Church (121 E Cleveland St, Blytheville, AR 72315). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
