It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Dewey Edward Wallen Sr. of Blytheville, Arkansas, born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on January 25, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Wallen; his children, Burley "Ben" Moore of Quitman, AR, Robert "Bobby" Moore (Karen) of Anchorage, AK, Dewey "Dee" Wallen (Lynda) of Blytheville, AR and LuEllen Job (David) of Godfrey, IL; his grandchildren, Julie, Laura, Tabitha, Marcus, Richard, Christopher, Ronald, Tony, Tristan and Lacy; and his sister Linda Phillips (Randy) of Greenville, SC. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Carney Funeral Home (1501 Byrum Rd, Blytheville, AR 72315). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
