She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Alfred and Mary Bessie Odom Hardesty; her husband Leon Jones; and her siblings, James Hardesty, Thomas Hardesty, Louie Hardesty, Owen Hardesty, Ernest Hardesty, Joseph Hardesty, David Hardesty, Imogene Hardesty and Mary Margaret Johns.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Hutton of Lake City and Kim Byrd (Anthony) of Blytheville; and her grandchildren, Peyton Hutton and Sarah Byrd.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Cobb Funeral Home (603 W Main St, Blytheville, AR 72315). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (715 W Walnut St, Blytheville, AR 72315).
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made in Deloris' honor to First Baptist Church, Arkansas Children's Hospital or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
