He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Gentry and Lucille Juden Gentry; his former wife Beverly Bullard Gentry; his wife Shirley Williford Gentry; his granddaughter Staci; and his brothers, Denny Gentry and Donald Gentry.
He is survived by: his sons, Earl Gentry (Nancy) of Germantown and Hugh Gentry (Charlotte) of Southaven, Mississippi; and his stepdaughter Paula Hyatt of Heber Springs, Arkansas. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
