He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Meador and Goldie Meador; his son Mark Meador; and his sisters, Loritta Meador Johnson (Gene) and Bonita Meador Stinnett (Terry).
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Meador; his daughters, Lisa Meador Pruitt and Stacy Franks (Jonathan); his daughter-in-law Becky Meador Cox; his son John Lee (Delores); his sister Linda; and his brother-in-law Bill Carman. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces, family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southern Christian Home or Bluff City Cemetery Association.
