He was predeceased by: his parents, John Everett and Isabell Erwin Adams. He is survived by: his wife Merilyn Flippo; his son Michael Duane Adams (Nettie) of Springdale; his siblings, Melvin Adams (Melinda) of Bradford, Mitchell Adams of Sharon, Tennessee and Teresa Wainscott (Roy) of Clarksville, Tennessee; his grandchildren, Adam Adams, Ambre Adams and Kayla Mondragon; and his great grandchildren, Adam, Victoria, Marley, Ellie, Moses and Noemii.
