She was predeceased by: her parents, John Marshall and Mary Marie Bowers (Jones); her former husband George Edward Jackson; her husband Richard Carlton "Dick" Darris; her children, Sandra Blazer, Steven Jackson, Alan Jackson and George Jackson; her siblings, Alice Bowers, John Bowers of Estel Bowers, R. D and Evelyn Leona Bowers (Babe); her grandchildren, Michael Goza, Kimberly Harper and Gary Blazer; and her great grandchild Zackery Harper.
She is survived by: her children, Charlotte Jackson-McGarrah of Hardy, Donna Ashby of Michigan, Frankie Jackson (Karen) of Black Rock and Paul Jackson (Bridgett) of Black Rock; and her siblings, Paul Bowers (Norma) of Texas, Bernice Bowers (Larry) of Louisiana and L. D. Bowers (Shirley) of Missouri. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
