It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willard Clifton Carpenter of Bismarck, Arkansas, who passed away on March 31, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Lee Carpenter and Rosa Ellen Carpenter; his former wife Gwendolyn Carpenter; and his sisters, Ruby Langdon, Eunita Williams (Nita) and Faye Jones.

He is survived by: his wife Gwen; his sons, Willard Carpenter (Byrum) of Bismarck, AR and Dale Carpenter (Sandy) of Hedgesville, WV; and his grandchildren, Scott Carpenter and Kelsey Behnfeldt. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
