He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton John Olander and Vera Ida Sheets Olander; and his nephew Paul Olander. He is survived by: his brother Don; his sister-in-law Claire Olander of Boone; his sister Sandra; his brother-in-law Marc Kadyk of Boone; his nieces and nephews, Rachel (Teresa), Adam Olander, Matt Kadyk (Lisa Yung) and Molly Kadyk; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jack, Molly, Jin Marc, Jadyn, Warner and Caleb.
