She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Loy and Pearl Loy; her children, Edward Don Slaughterbeck and Kathy Davis; and her siblings, Sue, Shirley, Mary, Truman, Diane and Allen.
She is survived by: her husband Ray Hughes of Bismarck; her daughter Sheila Hooper (Jeff) of Jessieville; her stepdaughter LaRae Bradford (Jack) of Russelville; and her stepgrandchildren, Paris "Lee" (Deidre), Brent (Emily), Brittany (Daniel), Mallory (James), Colton (Jessica), Jerry (Melissa), Robert (Chrissy), Josh, Clay (Jessica) and Bethany (Ryan). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren.
