She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter N. Hathcock and Velma Chancellor Hathcock. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Matthews; her children, Alan Matthews (Brittney) and Christie Lewis (Hank); her grandchildren, Joshua Matthews (Gracie), Ryan Matthews, Hunter Lewis (Taylor), Alec Lewis (Rebekah), Ethan Lewis and Beau Lewis; her great grandchild Avery Jo Lewis; and her brothers, Randy Hathcock (Linda) and Donny Hathcock.
