Elderie B. Efird Obituary

We bid farewell to Elderie B. Efird of Bismarck, Arkansas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 28, 2025 at the age of 93. Elderie B. touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Collie and Nettie Collie (McClard); her husband G. V. Efird; and her grandson Brett Martin. She is survived by: her children, Donna Martin of Bismarck, Carolyn Nivens (Luke) of Bismarck and Ronnie Efird (Regina) of Bismarck; her grandchildren, Jodie Holt (Mike) of Cincinnati, Jamie Martin (Tara) of Fayetteville, Robyn Chastain (Mark) of Cave Springs, Brian Nivens (Jamie) of Bryant, Brooke Shoemaker (Aaron) of Hallsville and Derek Efird (Holly) of Bismarck, Arkansas; and her sister-in-law LaVerne Cagle (Tommy). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild with another great-great-grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Ruggles-Wilcox Chapel (517 Clay St, Arkadelphia, AR 71923). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Caney Missionary Baptist Church (4118 AR-128, Bismarck, AR 71929).
